PEOPLE AND PLANET FUND

At Lafarge, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world we live in.

That's why we established the People & Planet Fund, an initiative that aims to accelerate social change and transformation through targeted charitable funds and resources.

Fostering Homes For All

Through our Community Support arm, we seek out socially responsible projects addressing housing affordability. We allocate $100,000 annually and measure the impact in terms of the number of people benefiting from our support.

By partnering with like-minded organizations, we work to create real change in providing affordable housing solutions.

Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

Our Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship, part of the People & Planet Fund, invests in future leaders for a brighter future. We collaborate with leading universities and Indspire to offer this annual scholarship program, recognizing students with exceptional leadership potential.

With an annual commitment of $65,000 for three years, we aim to support 72 young leaders by providing financial assistance and valuable internship opportunities to nurture their growth and development.

Our Commitment to Social Responsibility

Our commitment to social responsibility goes beyond business—it's about making a real impact. Through initiatives focused on community well-being and stakeholder engagement, we prioritize the advancement and prosperity of every community that welcomes us.

Investing in the future means investing in education. Our Leaders of Tomorrow Indigenous Scholarship Program in Eastern Canada, in partnership with Indspire, unlocks the potential of Indigenous youth to build stronger communities and shape Canada's future.

Lafarge Canada partners with Indspire and five prestigious universities in Eastern Canada to launch its 'Leaders of Tomorrow' scholarship program, empowering students to pursue their passions and succeed.

Lafarge Canada partners with Homes for Heroes to provide a caring, innovative, and comprehensive solution to homelessness by building a unique, affordable urban village in Kingston, Ontario to help homeless veterans get back on their feet.
