CAITLIN NORTON

In June 2022, Caitlin Norton assumed the role of General Counsel for Canada at Lafarge, marking a milestone in her journey with Lafarge. She embarked on her career with the company in 2015 as Legal Counsel, swiftly ascending to Senior Legal Counsel and later to Associate General Counsel.
Caitlin is a member of both the Eastern Canada and Western Canada Executive Committees and is pivotal in steering the company's strategic decisions. Reporting to the General Counsel, Legal & Compliance for North America, Caitlin's insights and expertise are instrumental in shaping Lafarge's legal landscape.
Caitlin's professional journey began at McCarthy Tétrault LLP in Toronto, where she honed her craft in commercial real estate law. Following her time there, she transitioned to an in-house legal role with a national grocery chain before joining Lafarge.
Caitlin obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in psychology with a business administration option. Throughout her time at Laurier, she undertook various co-op placements in the business and technology sectors, further diversifying her skill set. She then continued her academic journey, earning a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Western Ontario.
