PETER SANGUINETI
Vice President General Manager, Aggregates & Asphalt, Eastern Canada
Peter Sanguineti has been at the helm of Lafarge’s Eastern Canada Aggregates business since 2020, bringing a renewed focus to operational, commercial, and logistics excellence. His high-growth mindset has supported the accelerated development of the Eastern Canada Aggregates product line through increased focus on core business performance, successful business acquisitions, and high synergy new offerings, reinforcing the unit’s position as one of the top performing aggregates businesses within the Holcim Group.
Since joining Lafarge in 2008, Peter has held multiple positions in corporate strategy, sales, and operations roles, contributing most recently as the General Manager for the Southwest business and as Head of Health & Safety in Lafarge’s Eastern Canada division. He also brings entrepreneurial experience, having started, operated, and transferred a plastics business in his home country, Peru.
Peter holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Law and Political Sciences from the Universidad de Lima (Peru).
