Communications Manager

Anna has been the Communications Manager in Eastern Canada since January 2022. Over her 15 years of experience in the corporate communications world, Anna has developed and implemented strategic communications and branding frameworks in several organizations across various industries around the world, such as government, beverages, oil and gas, banking, mining, and others.

As a member of the Executive Committee and reporting to the President & CEO, Eastern Canada, Anna has created an advanced corporate communications structure and network at Lafarge Canada (East) that consists of strategic planning, internal communications, employee engagement, executive communications, media relations, social media and website management, ESG communications, creative communications, events management, and ROI Reporting.

Anna holds an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Public Relations from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, an Honours Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Management & Marketing from the Marketing School of Rio de Janeiro, and an Honours Post-Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca College. Anna is trilingual (English, Portuguese, and Spanish), and is also very passionate about psychology and the study of human behaviour in general – having initiated a Psychology Post-Graduate Program at Toronto Metropolitan University (former Ryerson University) in 2021.
